In keeping with the vision of FCA we hope "to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches."
This happens by first having a relationship with Jesus. To those who would like to know we want to share the good news that Jesus Christ ROSE FROM THE DEAD. He is the only religious leader in history who has done this. As such, HE IS ALIVE and though currently unseen, wants us to believe in the work He did for the FORGIVENESS OF OUR SIN on the cross and by so doing have eternal life. We believe HE IS COMING BACK and will judge the living and the dead. This really is good news for those who trust in Him.
Would you want to share really good news with others if you had some? We do too. We respect the fact that there are other belief systems and believe that in the free market of ideas the Truth of Jesus Christ stands alone. We do not push, we pray. When given the opportunity we share what we believe.
Coaches and athletes have a tremendous amount of influence on the campus and in the world. All people of every demographic and stage of life are valuable in God's sight. As former athletes and coaches we simply recognize the value of the opportunity to work among those who are having a great influence on the world.
